We warmly welcome all NHS patients into our practices.

The NHS will cover the cost of an eye examination with us if you are in one of the following qualifying groups: over 60, under 16, under 19 and in full time education, receiving benefits, registered as partially sighted or blind, diagnosed with glaucoma or diabetes, or be at risk of glaucoma.

You may also be eligible for NHS support towards the cost of glasses or contact lenses.

When you book an appointment with us, let our friendly staff know that you qualify and we will guide you through every step of the way.

A huge thank you to your Downham Market branch who fitted me in at very short notice today when I presented with a painful eye. Both Tesco and Specsavers refused to see me until next week once they had established I wasn’t after a ‘standard’ eye test, despite me clearly being in pain. The receptionist at Downham couldn’t have been more helpful, and the optician gave up part of his lunch break to see me. That’s what I call excellent customer service, well done.
