Really happy with my new glasses. Big thanks to Joseph for all the help and advice. After visiting many other opticians in the area, I can safely say the service at Spectacular Optcians was second to none. I’ll definitely be back again!

My children have been having their eyes tested and their glasses and contact lenses fitted here for over 10 years and we've always been treated very well.
The children enjoy their visits and have always managed to find fashionable frames at an affordable price, helped by Debbie’s great advice about choosing frames.

I would like to express my huge gratitude to Stuart who very kindly saw me as an emergency appointment on Tuesday. I was very worried about an issue with my eye sight, so he took time to thoroughly examine it and explain in detail what the issue was. He was so reassuring and it saved me a visit to hospital A and E dept. We are very fortunate to have such a patient focused opticians in our village. Thank you also to the receptionist for ensuring I was given a same day appointment.

I have had ongoing issues with retinal detachment which have required many hospital visits, and also many visits to Spectacular Opticians. Stuart at Waterbeach has been unfailing helpful and supportive, always happy to spend the time to talk things through and perform extra tests as needed. It is great to have such continuity of care in an age where this is increasingly uncommon: Stuart knows exactly where things stand with my eyes, so each time I go we can just pick up where we left off. Outstanding treatment.

I would like to thank Spectacular Opticians for their professional approach and the ongoing support that they have given me over the last few years. I was having constant problems with my eye sight, until I received a very thorough sight test from one of their Optometrists, and now I can live and work in extreme comfort.

I would truly recommend spectacular in March. Susan on reception is very friendly and helpful. My optometrist John explained everything I needed in my new varifocal glasses so it made total sense, making me feel at ease. I am extremely thankful to Natasha, who helped me compare the different varifocal lenses and frames available and the costs of each so there was no shock when I got to the total bill. When I put my new glasses on, it was immediately so easy to see out of them.

After previously using a big chain, I tried Spectacular Opticians and what a difference! I was treated like a person and my eye test was done properly. I found out my prescription was wrong and now with new glasses I can see properly. Brilliant!

The knowledge of the staff team is absolutely amazing. They recognised that my recent troubles feeling tired and struggling to focus were due to needing prism lenses. They were really helpful in helping me choose frames too when there’s such a wonderful range to choose from!

Spectacular Opticians is so friendly and attentive. They picked up on a slight alignment issue which has now ridden me of migraines and constant eye strain! There is also a fab range of frames to choose from!

When my glasses broke and I was walking around everywhere in sunglasses, the lovely receptionist at Spectacular managed to book me in last minute. I hadn’t been for over ten years, but they still had all my details on file! The service provided was absolutely impeccable from all staff who went above and beyond to make sure I received the best care during and after my visit. They even managed to get my glasses ready for the same afternoon. Highly recommended and truly appreciated, thank you.

I’ve appreciated the wonderful kind and thorough care from Spectacular for 15 years, but today Tracy surpassed my expectations. The rim of my glasses broke and it was near to closing time before a bank holiday when I called the Newmarket practice. By the time I arrived, Tracy had found an identical replacement from old stock and was able to transfer my lenses. I’d expected several weeks without glasses followed by the cost of a new pair, but Tracy was reluctant to charge anything.

This family-owned business places special emphasis on customer service and friendliness. Appointments never feel rushed and I really like the personal touch.
